Yesterday afternoon I watched 4 hours of Little House on the Prairie. We took a break and came downstairs for a snack. The girls told Dave what we were doing and they were so excited Mom was watching the show with them. Dave got a grin on his face and proceeded to tell them that I wasn’t watching Little House on the Prairie but was watching living off the grid. That was really funny and partially true. I love living off the grid stories…. even if they are a few steps from true living off the grid reality. I wish someone would do a real show on this life. We have the Les Stroud show, but it is not representative of what really happens.

Maybe you could sell the idea…considering today’s changing world bet there would be an interested audience!
Sorta changing the subject…I have checked out your blogroll (oops, Joel Rosenberg’s is misspelled). Personally, I particularly like reading different Christian perspectives on topics. Here are 3 sites you might enjoy.
1) http://www.nogreaterjoy.org/. I enjoy their magazine articles. Some consider the Pearls to be controversial but for the most part I really like them. I realized a long time ago I don’t have to agree with everything someone says.
2) http://www.girltalkhome.com/blog. Check out articles under the category list. I want to read some of their recommended books.
3) http://www.arminiantoday.blogspot.com/. I like the way he approaches more that one view of different subjects.
There are others too but I don’t want to overwhelm you…ha!

Kay, thanks for stopping by. I took a quick look at the sites and will spend more time reading when I have a few minutes. And I too love different Christian perspectives, so I think these add a new flavor to what I’ve been reading.
BTW, thanks for the spelling correction. I’ve had him on my list for weeks and you’re the first person who told me. Kind of like walking around with pepper in your front tooth and no one telling you!
And it is a good thing blogs are typed, because my handwriting is 100 times worse than my spelling.
