We’ve had two weeks of school. Maggie is having the hardest time accepting life is not all fun. Last week in math she was having a difficult time with her addition worksheet. She didn’t know the answer to 7 + 7. I asked her, “Maggie, what is 7 times 2?” She promptly replied, “14″. Last year she learned her multiplication by overhearing me go over the times tables with Bethany. I guess we need to go back and learn addition:) It is amazing what they learn even when you don’t think they are listening.
